hi, i am going to delhi for my job purpose. before that i have never been to delhi. so, i am really scared because i am from a small town. i have never seen traffics in my place. so, can you tell me what are the local transportation in delhi, so that i can manage accordingly.

Delhi local transport is considered as the lifeline for the people living in Delhi. Delhi’s half population is said to be dependent on the local transport of the city. There are number of modes of transport in Delhi such as cheap trains, buses, expensive taxis, auto rickshaws, RTV’s they are nothing but the mini buses. The bus fares are from 6 to 10 rupees. Auto rickshaws in Delhi are expensive than the local buses but they are cheap when compared to the taxis out there. Delhi metro is also considered as the cheap mode of transport in Delhi and the prices are also affordable.

Don’t worry, my friend……The local transportation in Delhi is quite fast and good. Half of the population only depends on the local transportation in Delhi. Local trains and buses are cheaper than taxis. The bus fares are in value of 2, 5, 7 and 10 only. It is easily obtainable. Every 2 minutes, you will get bus for any root. Metro is also very good but it has not reached all the parts of Delhi. Local trains contain one of the cut-rate means and modes of transportation here. Auto Rickshaws are more costly than buses. But they are easily available in each and every corner of Delhi.
